Promise Resource Network (PRN) is a peer-run organization offering free recovery and mental-health support to North Carolina residents. Services include a confidential 24/7 peer-support warm-line (1-855-733-7762), a walk-in Recovery Hub and Recovery Café in downtown Raleigh with peer-led classes, groups, and activities, and The Retreat at Fernwood — a free, voluntary peer-run respite where adults (18+) in emotional distress can stay up to 10 days in a private room with 24/7 peer support (no locks, no coercion, no clinical treatment). All services are free, peer-led, and require no insurance or referral.
