What they help with

Provides furniture and household essentials to Wake County families and individuals moving into housing, through partner-agency referral.

Furniture packages include beds, tables, seating, and kitchen and bath bundles. A referral must be submitted by one of Green Chair's 100+ partner agencies — individuals cannot self-refer. There is a $200 service charge per furniture package (paid by the client or the referring agency); a queen adult bed can be added for $350. Children's beds and cribs are included at no additional cost. Delivery within Wake County is free.
